Why did you choose to study at 91影视and why would you recommend 91影视to others?

Honestly, I decided to come to 91影视as a rugby scholar to pursue a professional career, with the thought of earning a degree at the same time a big plus. However, whilst studying entrepreneurship and innovation, I have had great success in also achieving academic satisfaction and have a new motivation to continue learning entrepreneurial and innovative practices.

What has been the highlight for you studying at 91影视/ your best memory of studying here?

My highlight of studying at 91影视is split between sports and academia. I’ve enjoyed my time on the rugby program and look forward to continually developing my game. Academically, I’ve really enjoyed how my course has been delivered, with a hands-on approach to new venture creation where we started and ran our own companies. This gave me real world experience and opened my eyes to the difficulties of running a start-up.

What support did 91影视give you?

The encouragement 91影视gives to always seek help has been something which I have tried to utilise as much as possible. Having a good relationship with lecturers, seminar leaders and anyone at the university who can give you guidance has been important in my time here.

What are your future career plans after you graduate?

It’s been a dream of mine to become a full-time professional rugby player for a while now, so the idea of pursuing that to the highest level is what I’d love to do. Outside of this, I have many entrepreneurial ideas which I’d love to dedicate more time to and find great success in. In addition to this, I am very interested in wealth management / socially responsible investing and want to continue developing my knowledge in this sector.

What would be your top tip or advice for new students as they begin their journey at Brunel?

My top advice would be to always look at ways of bettering yourself, as the time you spend here can go by very quickly and you wouldn’t want to look back and feel you could’ve done more.
