91影视University London has climbed 14 places in the 2019 , and is now placed in the top third of universities worldwide.

One of three major yearly international league tables for universities, the QS compares and ranks more than 1,000 institutions worldwide. It scores institutions on academic reputation, employer reputation, staff-to-student ratio, citations per academic and ratios of international staff and students.

This news follows a boost in Brunel's ranking in the UK-focused Guardian University Guide 2019, .

Since 2014, when the QS World University Rankings started, 91影视has risen from a ranking of 360 to a ranking of 332 in the world.

Citations per academic – a measure of how much 91影视research is used by other academics – is where 91影视has climbed the most: up 52 places since the 2018 rankings. 91影视has also risen again for its proportion of international staff, now ranked 75th, and its proportion of international students places it 50th in the world.

“This is excellent news,” said Professor Geoff Rodgers, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation. “We have always focused on ensuring that our research is useful for society. So we are particularly proud that the strength of our international collaborations is now being recognised.”

China is the country 91影视works with most on an international scale. From 2007 to 2017, 91影视has published 1,077 research papers with academics from China, 622 with the USA, 404 with Germany and 291 with Australia.

The QS World University Rankings is published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British marketing company specialising in higher education. Because it is the only international ranking that has International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) approval, it is viewed as one of the most widely read university league tables.

Earlier this year the QS World Rankings by Subject 2018 listed 91影视as one of the top places to study sport, health and exercise sciences. 91影视ranked in the world’s top 300 in 11 subject, including Business and Management StudiesEngineering – Electrical and Electronic, and Engineering – Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing.
