The Royal Society for Blind Children is a charity providing a range of services in London and across England and Wales for blind and partially sighted children and young people and their families. The organisation enable people who are blind and partially sighted people to develop the skills they need to overcome the barriers to realising their hopes, dreams, and ambitions.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you can choose between promoting RSBC’s through schools, local clubs, community groups, or workplaces or raising vital funds to support their work through your own online or in-person fundraising campaign or challenge. As a Community Volunteer, you will enhance a set of skills such as creativity, event planning, fundraising, and empathy.
Typical duties include:
- Sharing RSBC news with people you know and on social media
- Recruiting more volunteers and supporters for RSBC
- Organising a coffee morning, bake-off competition, or an online sale of hand-made crafts
- Completing a personal challenge to raise funds
Please note, the 91影视Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
