Blog: How to create a blog entry

Writing a blog article for your page is simple, and requires a quick access request to be submitted to begin with. Request blog contributor access here

Once you have been notified that your access has been granted, please follow the steps below to create your blog post.

Step 1 Access CMS

Go to and click on the blue Sign in with AD FS button as below:

You will be presented with a screen link this:

Step 2 Add new entry

In the top right-hand corner of the page press the teal coloured button saying + New entry

You will be presented with a screen like this

Step 3 Search for blog entry

Into the top search toolbar type Blog or research blog and the category Research Blog will be displayed automatically, like this:step 3

Step 4 Select type of entry

Click on the name Research Blog

You will be presented with a screen like this:

You are now ready to write your blog entry.

Step 5 Complete all fields

Complete the fields following the instructions given, indicating the staff profile of the author and the research project where you post should be displayed (if applicable). You can tag the research group where you would like your blog displayed by using the Research Tags. 

Step 6 Submit your work

After completing all the fields, click on Save and then on Send for approval buttons in the top right hand corner of the page:
