Contensis uses a template based method for the creation of web pages.
Websites built using Contensis will contain a variable numbers of templates, according to the design and functional requirements of each website.
Each webpage is created from a template, and it is the template that determines the layout and functionality provided.
Templates are assigned to folders, together with permissions and are made available for individual Users or Groups to create WebPages from.
There are two ways of adding new content. You can either do it from a directory鈥檚 mouse-click pop-up window, or via the home screen.
Directory Click Method
听
听Click on the directory (1) in which you want to create a generic page and then (2) click 鈥楴ew Content鈥�. We鈥檙e going to create a new page called 鈥�91影视鈥� in the folder we created above. Click on the desired Page Template (3). 
听appears for a few seconds then your new page displays on the left听
. The page will then be displayed in the workspace window.
Wizard Method
When on the Workspace听听 听area click 鈥楴ew page鈥� (1) in the 鈥業 Want To...鈥� section, select the folder you want to create it in (2) and then choose the template (3) you wish to use.
The display of folders is determined by individual assignment, and then the permissions you have. If only have one folder assigned to you then the Wizard will skip the 鈥楥hoose a Folder鈥� and take you to the template screen (3).
NOTE: When only one template is available, the name of that template is displayed in brackets.
In cases where there are multiple templates assigned to the folder, clicking on the web page option will refresh the screen to display a list of the available templates for you, as shown below.
Contensis will then update 
displaying 鈥�
'听in the project explorer. 听The page you created will then be displayed in the workspace window.
